Long Lake
Clear-water lake with shaded camp sites and a hiking trail….
Hidden high in the hills of the Colville National Forest is Long Lake, a small and often-overlooked, clear-water lake with shaded camp sites and a hiking trail. In the late spring and early summer, the lake draws local fly fishers and anglers in search of trout.
Home to numerous birds and waterfowl as well as chipmunk, squirrels, and rabbits, in the summertime the lake trail also attracts black bears in search of huckleberries.

Maintained by the US Forest Service, Long Lake’s campgrounds provide community water spigots or hand pumps, bear-proof trash containers, fire grills, picnic tables, and well-maintained handicap accessible toilets.
