Curlew Lake provides the perfect environment for deep-lake trolling and bait fishing for net-pen reared rainbow trout (spring and early summer), large mouth bass (summer and fall), and tiger muskies. The lake is located on SR-21, just four miles northeast of Republic, Washington. Public picnicking, camping, and a public boat ramp are available at Curlew Lake State Park. Curlew Lake State Park, located ten miles north of Republic, Washington, offers visitors a lines-free boat launch and choice of 82 campsites dotted across the park's 127 acres of uncrowded, grass-covered hills. Surrounded on three sides by the peaks and valleys of the Colville and Okanogan National Forests, the park provides walk-in lake-view sites set atop grassy knolls; secluded sites tucked in hillside clefts; and RV and trailer sites. Empire Lake
Small Empire Lake is located eleven miles north of Republic, in the Colville National Forest. Regular plants of eastern brook trout fry make this a great place to catch eight-inchers by the season opener. Open season begins the last Saturday in April and runs through October 31
Ferry Lake (19 acres)
Ferry Lake
Ferry Lake is conveniently located just nine miles south of Republic on Highway 21, up Forest Road 53/Scatter Creek to the west. It's situated in a cluster of small lakes (Swan, Long, and Fish Lakes) highly suited to fly fishing. Catchable rainbow trout are planted each season to offset the frequent winter kills. Fish Lake
At 3,300 feet elevation, serene Fish Lake is a nearly has the ambiance of an alpine lake. The small lake is located about one mile south of Ferry Lake by county road, in a cluster of small lakes that includes Swan Lake, Ferry Lake, and Long Lake. Annual plants of catchable rainbow trout provide good fishing from spring through fall. Open season begins the last Saturday in April and runs through October 31. More...>
Long Lake (14 acres)
Long Lake
Long Lake is restricted to fly-fishing, and yields 9" to 17" catches from the spring through the fall. Boat launch available, but Ferry County ordinance prohibits Internal combustion engines. The lake is located approximately eleven miles southwest of Republic, up the Scatter Creek drainage in a cluster of small lakes that includes Swan Lake, Ferry Lake, and Fish Lake. There is an improved Forest Service campground. Open season begins the last Saturday in April and runs through October 31. More...>
Swan Lake (52 acres)
Swan Lake
Swan Lake is a high-elevation (3,641 feet) lake frequented by local anglers and fly fishers after brook, rainbow, and cutthroat trout. Located about 10 miles southwest of Republic, up the scatter creek drainage, it's one of a cluster of small lakes (Ferry, Long, and Fish Lakes). Camping is available at the Forest Service campground, located on the east shore. Stocked annually with rainbow trout fry. Ten Mile Campground is located just off of Hwy. 21 and adjacent to the San Poil River. The shallow, bubbling waters of the San Poil provide cool relief from the summer heat and opportunities for anglers and fly fishers to catch a dinner of brook trout. More...>

Trout Lake
Rainbow trout are stocked at this Forest Service campground. Best for spring fishing. Ferry County ordinance prohibits Internal combustion engines on this little lake. Located eight miles west of Kettle Falls, at the southeast end of Hoodoo Canyon. Boat launch available. Open season begins the last Saturday in April and runs through October 31.
