Area Driving Loops

Republic, the "Gold Capital of the West" (once known as Eureka Gulch, a wild and furious gold rush town), invites you to some of the best road touring you’ll ever experience. In the late 1800's, it was gold that lured prospectors to the Republic area. Today, it's the golden opportunity to motorcycle, bicycle, and auto tour that tempts tourists and travelers to our area. Within an 80 mile radius of Republic, there are eight gorgeous winding-mountain passes to delight the most avid tourer, and Republic, Washington is the perfect place to stage your vacation and see them all.
Loops and Drives
We have unlimited combinations of loops and drives with magnificent scenery, historical sites and ghost towns along the way. All roads lead to Republic and back again. We hope that this information will simplify your touring plans for a more relaxing journey. You can concentrate on what you like to do most: see the sights!

Road Rallies
Located in Ferry County, Republic, has been the host for four years to the Washington BMW State Motorcycle Rally. Republic has also hosted the Antique Motorcycles of America National Rally, Roving Gamblers Annual Camp out, Christian Motorcyclists Association Annual Meatball Rally, and many more motorcycle and auto groups of all sizes.
