Mountain Arts Spirit Song Studio

A small studio filled with gifts, ideas, and inspiration....

Photography and sketchesA sketch of a snarling cougar, a wall of incense sticks, and a window sill holding a rainbow of tumbled rocks are just a few elements that make up the colorful Mountain Arts Spirit Song Studio in Republic, Washington

The studio is neatly tucked into the living and dining areas of a 1950's log cabin that was originally created as housing for public school teachers. The current owner, Susan Davis, has converted the cabin into a small, arts shop where she sells an eclectic mix of merchandise that includes incense sticks and wooden holders, scented oils, postcards, dream catchers, handmade herbal soaps, area landscape photography, sketches of local wild life, jewelry, and wind chimes. She also stocks a selection of beads for folks wishing to create their own jewelry.

Rocks on the window sill of the Reike treatment roomActive in local arts projects, Davis maintains her shop, because she's "driven to finding ways to keep the [area] arts community growing." She's currently displaying the work of sixteen artists on consignment, including woodwork by Jim Boman, baby moccasins by Brokenlily James, and crafts by Laurie Dorrell. As Davis says, Spirit Song Studio "promotes artistry from all cultures," but "focuses on local artists."

Other year-round services offered through the studio are picture framing and photo portraiture. For those interested in the healing arts, Davis also offers Reike energy-balancing treatments by appointment.
